Believe it or not, mining and blasting activities do take place in Miami. Albeit, in an isolated area, on the west edge of the city, but it does take place. This is not something new, it’s been going on now for a number of years at the West-Miami Dade Limestone Quarries.
And thanks to these activities, it’s added another layer of paperwork and bureaucracy for realtors and parties involved with any residential real estate transactions in the area. Another sheet of paper with legal jargon pertaining to disclosure, cause and effect, requiring signatures by parties involved.
Anybody can sue for anything these days, so this is why the printed words are required so not if, but when the venerable day in court arrives.
Apparently some moaning and groaning has occurred, but I have never heard of, or am unaware of any case where these activities have affected anyone in the Miami-Doral area.
If any one reading this post is aware of any case pertaining to this matter, please leave a comment. It will be interesting to know.
